The latest E-light beauty equipment is a combination of IPL technology, epidermal cooling technology and RF technology. Different with many other beauty machines that target one specific skin problem, E-light beauty device can be applied to the treatment of many therapeutic items, such as: skin rejuvenation, hair removal, acne treatment, pigment lesions removal, and red blood silk removal. We can say that E-light is one of the machines with most functions and highest cost performance. What is the treatment theory of each item then?
Skin rejuvenation: the power from IPL can heat the skin instantaneously, while the columnar heat from RF can increase the temperature of whole skin evenly. Under these two effects, the collagens in skin can shrink from heat, part of the old damaged collagens will be repaired, besides, it also can form certain new collagens and accelerate the metabolism, finally, the effect of skin rejuvenation will be realized.
Hair removal: making use of the selective photothermal theory, the E-light can emit pulse lights with a wavelength of 530nm which will be absorbed by the melanin in hair germs selectively, then the heat from pulse light will make hair papilla wither to lose the capacity to offer nutrition to hair follicle, which will lead to the death of hair follicle and make it separate from the hair papilla in the end.
Pigmented lesions: with specific filter, the device can emit pulses with a wavelength of 530nm, after being absorbed by epidermal pigment, it can create certain heat coagulation which will make the chromophore necrotize and be dispelled from body finally. E-light is limited to the treatment of dotted epidermal pigment lesions, such as freckles.
Acne treatment: on one hand, the heat form IPL can shrink the sebaceous bland to reduce the secretion of sebum; on the other hand, it can stimulate the activity of porphyrin which is produce by corynebaterium acnes to create singlet oxygen to kill the corynebaterium acnes effectively.
Red blood silk removal: the 530nm pulses emitted from device can be absorbed by the hemoglobin in diseased blood capillaries. Its heat can make the red blood silk dead from heat coagulation. After death, the red blood silk will be engulfed by the macrophage and emitted from body with lymphocinesia. Once diseased blood capillaries dead, the normal ones around them will take over their roles instantly. Hence, it has no influence on the blood circulation.
